Yesterday was so warm here in California (For my readers who are snowed in, I apologize for how beautiful it is here!), that I decided it was time for a tutu and heels!
The skirt was an on-sale find at Nordstroms Rack, one of my favorite places to shop, not only for designer brands at pretty great prices, but if you're willing to spend some time DIGGING in the racks you can really hit the jackpot sometimes!
The Skirt
The Shoes
Sam & Libby! Love, love, love these super simple wedges. They have a cork base, and a two-tone leather straps that are really comfortable. After my last pair of white summer wedges that I could wear all day from American Eagle (Pretty much the only time I'll wear something from there), I was sceptical about finding a pair again that was comfortable all day. These have really been an amazing walking/all day shoe. I love how you can still wear a wedge with an everyday outfit and be casual, but be able to function and run if needed like you can't in a pointy-toed stiletto!
The Shirt
H&M has to be one of my favorite new stores. I had been pretty resistant about loving it because I know so many bloggers that love it...I know, I know, I'm just stubborn like that! But then this fall before a big trip to New York, Lizzy over at Buckaroo Barbie drug me there and I totally fell in love. I had been missing out. Their basic T's and jeans are to DIE for, and I love how cheap their clothes are without having that horrible tendency to pill and fall apart. Everything I've ever bought from them has lasted forever, and I think every wardrobe should have a good basic white tee shirt that will go with everything. This totally fits the bill for me!
You can find one HERE.
The Jacket
I am just a total sucker for a good denim jacket. I love, love, love this one that I picked up for way too cheap at Forever 21, and I usually pair it with...well...everything. If I have a dress that feels a little too revealing, or it's a cool night or I want to make something a little fancy just slightly more casual - I throw on this jacket. It's always handy to keep around, and I see my closet as totally incomplete without one or ten!

love love love it!!!!! Super jealous highest temperature I've had all week is 35 so skirts and wedges are a long way off!
ReplyDeleteThe skirt is just wayyy too cute! Love it all. We're still in Cali up here too, but it sure wasn't sunny and warm. Although 40 is a major difference from the 20 we were having in Eastern Oregon!
