Western Wednesday!

I can’t really think of anything more “Western Wednesday”
appropriate than a song about the lady bronc riders of the old west and their
history….

I remember the first time I saw an old black and white
picture of Prairie Rose Henderson, my first “old time” cowgirl picture ever.
She was seated up on a big ol’ bronc and spurring and quirting the heck outta
this horse.

I was hooked.

I read everything I could, researched pictures and stories
and videos and everything I could get my hands on about these little women with
big hearts….

This is my tribute to those old time gals, to the ones who
came before.
