March has been such a big treat for me.
I've gotten to stay at home for a month long, hang out with my family, ride my horses, write new music and work on upcoming projects for this year, as well as trying to fit all my shows into a semi-normal time schedule. Also, the Buckaroogirl Facebook page launched it's new line of Buckaroogirl merchandise, right now made up of Tshirts and baseball caps, and soon to add Hoodies, Koozie covers, Bumper stickers and coffee mugs!
The time here at the ranch has been so beautiful, branding's, roping and new horses have been the focus lately-with an emphasise on writing about it all as fast as I can. Before this month, things had been going 12000 miles an hour, and it felt good to just breathe for a while and recharge my batteries.
It's so funny, when I'm on the road I am SO DARN HAPPY even though I miss my family, and when I am home I get SO DARN RESTLESS! So the anticipation of being busy again in a different way is exciting.
There is nothing better than the feeling of getting all the guitars (and now a banjo) together, the gear and bedroll in case we need to pretend to be cowboys somewhere (cause lets face it, roping is more fun than anything besides singing) and hitting the open road.
Hot black coffee, some tunes and my best friend are usually the best thing I could ask for on a long trip to a show. The coffee must be as big as possible. Trust me, that extra 14 cents is WORTH getting the big cup! And tunes can include Ryan Bingham, Ian Tyson, Rihanna, Bill Miller, Eddie Vedder, Reckless Kelly (Have I mentioned I get to open for them in May? EEK! SO EXCITED!) Lana Del Rey, The Proclaimers....OK, so you get the idea. I like a lot of different music, and we need a variety of tunes. There are too many to list. Moving on.
Basically no show is as fun without my best friend and big sister Liz.
The end. She makes everything so much awesome and truly fun, and is constantly my source of comfort and giggles. We also are great at people watching and running into things at a high rate of speed. We eat massive amounts of food that we probably shouldn't, and get lost more than any pair of normal human beings should....in short, we have loads of fun.
I have about another week of fun at home before things get crazy again, and I can't wait to see all of my amazing friends and fans and meet new ones down the road!

Lots of love to you all,
