A day in the TBird....

Today, my momma and I decided to ignore all the things we had to get done and take off together in my Grandpa's 55 cherry red Thunderbird convertible....

We are a bad influence on each other basically...and I love it.

We spent the morning at the Murphy Auto Museum where my Grandfather is a docent, and chatted and drank coffee and learned all sorts of things we hadn't known about our favorite cars housed in the museum...

Then because it was a gorgeous sunny day, we tied our hair up, put the pedal to the metal and zoomed around like a little cherry red dart before stopping in at a dock-side bar for a beer and little chat.

Some days, it''s good to just forget that to-do list, grab someone you care about and let the top down!
