ADRIAN
BUCKAROOGIRL
Someone asked me in school the other day what I believe.
Point blank.
I loved the blunt question, but on my way home from class-I
started thinking…what DO I really believe in?
·
I believe in church ceilings of blue Texas sky
and hymnals of sage.
·
I believe in cold mornings and wood burning
stoves.
·
I believe in Dolly, Willie and Johnny.
·
I believe in handmade boots, and spurs that cost
more than my vehicle.
·
I believe in handpicked flowers given on a rainy
morning.
·
I believe in custom hats, nice guitars and antique
dresses.
·
I believe in barefaced workdays and braided
windblown hair.
·
I believe in old whiskey and new puppies.
·
I believe in family, real hugs and talks late at
night.
·
I believe in hand-built rigs, old pick-ups and
woven blankets.
·
I believe in family, holding hands during prayer
and thank God for simply waking up.
·
I believe in good dogs, baby colts and arrowhead
searching.
·
I believe in doing what you feel in your heart
you are meant to do, maybe not what is expected of you.
I believe in beauty, happiness and joy,
what do you believe?
xoxo
Happy Sunday everyone!
I believe in a string of Cowboy Churches strung along a Farm to Market. Each with pickup trucks parked and horses hitched on the outside, and wonderful churchgoers on the inside.
